Predictive text uses AI to fill in words and whole sentences for you. If you don't find this option useful you might want to disable it.
Create a new email. Make sure you are editing the message body. Go to Edit menu, then the Spelling and Grammar sub-menu. Then set the "Show Text Predictions" option to OFF.
Note: This works with version 16.99.1 for Mac. Other versions might differ.
