Sun in Hydrogen Alpha
Used hydrogen alpha scope to observe Sun from Otago Uni.
12.20 Bright area seen near top-left of disk.
12.30 Dark fine thread-like area seen stretching towards limb.
12.35 Dark area became more defined and darker.
12.50 Beginning to fade.
12.55 Bright area less conspicuous and dark areas fading.
Tuning filter showed bright area or center of dark area presumably due to doppler shift of dark area (prominence?).
