(Up to OJB's Acacia Page) Acacia Pinot Noir 1994Tasted: | 12 May 1995 (age 1 year) | Name: | Acacia Pinot Noir (220) | Variety: | Pinot Noir | Year: | 1994 | Producer: | Acacia | Region: | California | Rating: | good | Web Site: | Not available | | The colour was medium deep ruby bright red. There was sharp dry Pinot fruit, which was clean and smooth. There was a smooth dry woody start, light fruity mid palette, and a moderate clean finish. This was a very good wine with well integrated flavours. I drunk this wine at dinner in the Fairmont Hotel restaurant, San Jose during a visit for a conference. |
Note 1 I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it! Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these wines as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities. ![[Up]](../XuShared/Up2B.jpeg)
